Weight
lifting workouts
When you first start in with this exercise routine remember – start
with the lighter dumbbells that are comfortable, and only mildly challenging.
You will move up to the more macho dumbbells quickly as your body adjusts
to its new strength that it gains quickly from regularly scheduled
weight lifting workouts.
According to many experts, you will help your body learn to burn more
fat if you take the simple step of warming up before starting your
weight lifting workouts or aerobic routine.
You can do this by running in place, or by doing the routine slowly at
first, with lighter dumbbels, and then push yourself a bit more when your
muscles have loosened up and become warmer.
This is where we can help. We have written the eBook Weight
Lifting for Absolute Beginners, which will get you off to a great
start as you begin this program.
Weight
Lifting For Absolute Beginners is illustrated so that anyone can
begin using this valuable technique quickly and easily, with only $5.00
worth of equipment, in the privacy of your own home.
You may prefer to start with just one pair of dumbbells, and add pairs
as you get stronger. I’ve seen them for sale at Target starting
at under $4 a pair for the lighter dumbbells, and just this week I saw
them at K-Mart for 99 cents! You don't have to spend a fortune to get
started on a weight lifting workouts program.
We aren't kidding when we say it doesn’t take much equipment. If
you want, you can buy a complete set of small dumbbells, weighing from
1 pound all the way up to 30 or more. But if you're really excited about
the way your simple equipment and routines make you feel, you can then
go on to get a membership in a good gym, or invest in more elaborate equipment.
As with any fitness program, before starting your
weight lifting workouts you should tell your doctor.
Each of us is different. This routine is very low-impact, but you will
be using muscles that you may not have used in years. It’s important
to use caution and common sense when choosing which weights to use, in
order to avoid any unintentional damage to your muscles.
